The Lebanese Red Cross organized a field training session for First Responder Team - Jabal Mohsen, affiliated with the Alawite Islamic Charity Association (AICA), with the aim of strengthening their preparedness to respond to emergency situations during the summer season.
The training included lectures and practical exercises on household fires and safe firefighting methods, as well as an introduction to the risks associated with extreme heatwaves and the appropriate preventive measures. The trainers also focused on the symptoms and first-aid procedures for heat exhaustion and heat cramps, and on how to provide rapid assistance to affected individuals until medical teams arrive.
