AICA Participates in the National Health Sector Working Group Meeting
The Alawite Islamic Charity Association (AICA) participated in the National Health Sector Working Group (NHSWG) meeting, held on October 30, 2026, and coordinated by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The meeting brought together health sector partners from across Lebanon to discuss pressing healthcare challenges, emergency preparedness, strengthening access to essential health services, and enhancing coordination among stakeholders.
A key focus was identifying emerging health needs and shaping strategic priorities for the 2027 Health Sector Response, with an emphasis on ensuring equitable, accessible, and quality healthcare for vulnerable communities.
Through its participation, AICA reaffirmed its commitment to collaborative action, stronger health systems, and sustainable healthcare solutions, contributing to a more resilient and inclusive health sector in Lebanon.
