The Alawite Islamic Charity Association (AICA), represented by Protection Field Coordinator Nisrine Khanat and MHPSS Specialist Samah Othman, participated in the official ceremony at the Grand Serail to declare September 10 as the National Day for Suicide Prevention.
The event was held in the presence of the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Rakan Nasser El-Din (representing the Prime Minister), Mrs. Sahar Baassiri, Minister of Social Affairs Hanine El-Sayed, WHO Representative in Lebanon Dr. Ahmed Zouiten, ABAAD Director Ghida Anani, and Embrace President Mia Atoui, alongside civil society partners and stakeholders.
